ABOUT ME

Design, to me, is part psychology, part sociology, and part magic.

ANDRIANI

Born and trained in Italy, Valerio Andriani brings a distinctive blend of European elegance and modern urban sophistication to every project he touches. With a career spanning over 20 years in the global luxury design scene, Adriani has collaborated with world-renowned brands such as Versace, Molteni, and Meroni Luxury, where he led the design department.

Known for his ability to marry Italian refinement with contemporary functionality, Andriani work elevates each space with a quiet, confident sense of luxury. At The 1525 Residences, his interiors speak the language of timeless design—where soft textures, custom Italian furnishings, and thoughtfully curated layouts transform each home into a serene private retreat.

Each project is born from a deep inner search aimed at findingthe right key to reading the architectural space and satisfying theclient’s requests. Every word, every image, every sound, every emotionmix together in a dance whose goal is to create somethingnew and unique in its kind. Each project is a story of different experiences whose purpose is to express an ideaof personalized beauty. This concept has its roots in Italianartistic culture but is capable of expressing new contaminations between eras and styles, color andmaterial. My projects mainly tell a modern andcontemporary style.

His portfolio spans across Europe, the U.S., and other international markets, making Valerio Andriani a sought-after designer whose creations resonate with beauty, comfort, and enduring style perfectly tailored for the way we live today.

Graduated from the European Institute of Design in Milan in 2004, my adventurein the world of design began by collaborating with various architecture and designstudios.

I fondly remember the people I met on this path of professionalgrowth.Visionaries such as Versace, Valentin Yudashkin, Molteni…designers such as Raffaella Mangiarotti, Chiara Andreatti, GiannellaVentura… and small artisans who have made Italian design great in the worldas SerecoMobili. Finally, I cannot forget my friend Gio Bosaia, a designer like me, with whom I have a constantcomparison of interior projects and more.In 2015 I was appointed art director of the MeroniLuxurybrand, becomingresponsible for their global image through interior design new collections.

I’ve recently been collaborating with Scic Italia, a global leader in Made in Italy excellence. These companies transform my ideas, supporting me through every phase of the project.I am also passionate about Renaissance and contemporary art, sculpture, music, travel…I still remember the amazement I had in looking at the works ofthe great masters such as Caravaggio and Leonardo Da Vinci or the joy of discoveringdistant places and cultures. This is the beauty I try to express in my projects. My office is in Meda-Italy small city near Milan and Como Lake considered thecenter of Italian furniture design.

Abbraccio Chair

Abbraccio chair expresses with its soft and enveloping lines the concept of a soft and comfortable seat. The design idea was to create an object that would resonate with the user, giving the user a sense of warmth and love.

Plasir

For the design of this chair I found inspiration from the nautical world. The polished brass element is a reference to luxury boats. I really wanted to relive the glamour of the worldliness that was breathed in the 60s on the French Riviera in the south of France.

Rail Sofa

A distinctive silhouette, characterized by rounded volumes, give life to the Rail seating system.
At the heart of this design is a deep respect for the past, a tribute to a time when sofas offered sophistication and comfort at the same time.

My design idea was to break down the back of the sofa into several elements, making everything
harmonious and dynamic.
